Formed in 1974, Axcraft was a progressive rock outfit fronted by vocalist Jimmy McLellan. After several years of gigging, during which they opened shows for both the all-girl power-punk group The Runaways and the classic rock giants The Who, outside interference led to internal strife and the implosion of the prog-rock up-starts.
Jimmy McLellan is a genuine rock n' roll space animal. Whether breaking bread with Bedouin goat farmers, throwing caution to the wind in Indonesian Houses of Ill Repute, primal screaming atop the highest Himalayan mountains, or ultimately, seeing the face of God for the first and only time during a chant-intensive religious experience with Tibetan Monks, Jimmy McLellan's near 30-year astral journey has seen him both lose and find himself.
Now, Jimmy's back and he's brought with him answers to which there are no questions. Dear reader, that answer is simply:

May God have mercy on your soul.
